Different people have wildly different experiences of different stages of parenthood. Someone just referred to the infant stage as “cute Hallmark movie” while I remember standing in my kitchen in tears because I couldn’t get the Hobbit to sleep for a full day. I remember hallucinating from lack of sleep.
The same person says the toddler stage is horrible and soul-destroying, and honestly, it’s been mostly super fun for us.
