@HobbyHero in practice, I land somewhere between skeptic and technologist. I think that there needs to be more sensible research on how this technology can be useful, but I'm not totally convinced that there are any use cases where it's going to be the best tool.

Politically, I'm closer to abolitionist. Even if it can be useful, this tech needs to be torn down and started over on an ethical and sustainable foundation.
