just now at the dr’s office I was told that Medicare doesn’t cover a tetanus shot given at the office. The dr said, “but she cut her finger!” and the admin said, “sorry, they won’t cover it, she’d have to go to a pharmacy or urgent care for it to be covered.”

I found out at the last visit that an in-office shingles shot isn’t covered either. At a pharmacy it’s half-price, but still expensive (over $300 per shot, and you need two)
