People like Elon Musk and Peter Thiel are not geniuses. They're just evil morons who have been able to take advantage of a system built by and for evil morons. We need to rebuild a society where these idiots cannot get money and power.
It's not brilliant to take advantage of the less fortunate of us as a means for building an empire.
We need to stop equating intelligence with boundless greed.
If you listen to either of them speak, they don't sound intelligent. They sound like cartoon villains.
@jcrabapple yep
@jcrabapple one would think we'd be done building pyramids for pharaohs by now.
First we have to call attention to all their enablers. The people who willingly hyped them without doing any critical analysis or who attacked those who did.
His biggest propeller was Tesla because people bought into his claims that he was doing it for the environment.
@AnnieBuddy @jcrabapple It's corrupt that Tesla is valued/hyped in excess of all the other, far more productive, car companies combined.
It really is, especially since they pose a threat to everyone on the road.
@jcrabapple
Privilege atrophies. If you're clever enough to get into a position where you're insulated from normal consequences (which doesn't have to be very clever at all if dad had an emerald mine) it doesn't take long for the critical faculties to erode.

These are men that got lucky but importantly, these are psychopaths that got lucky. Peter in particular is a proselytizing psychopath. He is shown a talent to identify people like himself and further cultivate, and nurture psychopathy through the sovereign individual prophecy.
These men are lethal and poisonous because they enthusiastically indoctrinate anyone they get their hands on
Sep 27, 2026, 4:07 PM@jcrabapple capitalism must be destroyed
When someone tries to argue that someone is intelligent who clearly is not, I just respond,
I can see why you think so; Intelligence is relative after all.
They usually take it as a compliment 😊
Start the sabotage of Larry Ellison, Elon Musk, & Peter Thiel's ill-gotten wealth...
... by going after the petrostate despots & oil oligarchs that funnel money to technofascist billionaires.
