I hate that you simply can’t get oral thermometers that work on the
principles of physics rather than needing batteries.

I don’t get fever that often, but when I do all I can find in the house is some lcd lollipop with a dead battery. It’s like you have to buy one everytime you get sick, and that’s damn inconvenient if you are feeling sick.
