Found out the local club has $60,000 in the account due to a couple of big windfalls. Now they want to half of it away to the ARRL to fund a $1,000/yr scholarship in memorial of a former club president. Other club factions want to keep the money and retain control of the gifts. I tend to side with the later. We'll see how that pans out.
