    @pixel Does it just spawn as many processes or threads as it feels like without limiting the number of processes to the number of cores/CPUs?

    I just finished (re)writing a cross-platform batch queue; it's not a lot of code. One might reasonably expect a company with as many resources as Apple to be able to write something more graceful than I did with Python in 3 days.

    @pixel Ah, that's fine then. I didn't expect 28 cores; that's around 80% utilization. When I see a load average of 23 I expect the machine to be completely swamped and unusable.
