Savitar I've only looked at the index & overview, but it's not much smarter.
moo.el is a real legit way to MUD client, it's just too big for my tastes.

@mdhughes it's nice that moo.el has a hook, and I can just stick a function to that and it runs (or they all run) on every line of output.
Edit: and mud-send-string I suppose.
