@stefano Where you go wrong is that if said kid in the bedroom contributes something and has no clue what that contribution is, does or what its impact is, it really isn't worth considering. Irrespectively whether that contribution was generated by AI or not.

And the experience by most open source project owners is that most of the AI generated contributions are slop, can't be explained by their submitter, and take up huge amounts of time from the projects maintainers.
