For a while back there I thought the best way to grow the #Fediverse was to get a few "celebrities" with 10 Million followers to join, and we could grow that way, but that's obviously a bad idea in hindsight.
We need to get 10 Million small communities, special niche interests, unique hobbies, philosophies, fan clubs to join us here.
If the nice celebrities want to join that's fine too.

I agree, if celebrities were to join some small hobby communities on here, that sounds way healthier. Tom hanks in the typewriter restauration community would be rad. Beyonce Beekeeping, too.

An account even with a few thousand followers stops acting like a person.
No interaction with others, no openness, no authenticity, no apology if a mistake is made or somebody was offended - only damage control at best.
