I was very heartened when @buffyleigh and I stopped for a beer at Blindman Brewing in the small farming/7th day Adventist college town of Lacombe, Alberta and saw all the Canadian flags and Forever Canadian unity lawn signs. It's not true that all rural Albertans are separatists.
