    @benno while much of our org is actually in New Zealand, unfortunately we can't currently hire in Australia.

    That job description does sound very interesting!

    The description mentions mentoring. I love mentoring/collaborating with other engineers, but find it difficult/pointless in an organization that prioritizes LLM adoption over team learning.

    I didn't see "AI" or "LLM" mentioned in that job description. Are you one of the rare organizations that hasn't forced adoption of those? 🤞

    @NfNitLoop We definitely use LLM and and AI for all sorts of things–we are a research org, so it can be really helpful for research. That said, we're also a research org, so we find a lot of places where the things we're trying are novel enough that we can stump LLMs when we try to get it to do things.

    We haven't forced adoption of AI here.
