Hating everything doesn't actually make you any smarter than the rest of us. Most of the time, it just makes you bloody miserable.
You can, in fact, just like things.

@Daojoan corollary: “Our passions are not too strong, they are too weak. We are far too easily pleased.” — C.S. Lewis, “The Weight of Glory”
@Daojoan Any way I can read this without subscribing for, ahem, free? Because one of the things I quintessentially hate is surrendering my personal information and creating yet another account for absolutely everything.
Based on this post, and the three sentances that were free, I can only say these things.
- Yes, I hate stuff, I hate a lot of stuff. I hate almost everything.
- No, I do not think this makes me smarter than other people.
- Yes, I do realize that this makes me more miserable than other people.
- No, I do not know how to, "just like things."
- Yes, I know I would be happier if things just made me happy, but they don't.
But, how can I escape this self imposed hell when you force me to face one of my biggest hates in life, simply to read your.... *ahem* suggestions?
In the words of my generation, "Up yours!"
