One of the disappointing things on here is there are a lot of people who have far greater means than I have at this point and I am very careful when I boost posts asking for money from Gaza to check the verified status and to even select posts that are less fatiguing and jarring and more humanizing, and many of those are still not receiving any support, and I think that people who have nothing because of the situation where they live do deserve support.

There are a couple of exceptions to this rule and I have seen people get shelter who had none, it does not go to waste when you do help. I personally have nothing to spare as I live in a collective that is only partially employed due to many of its members being disenfranchised to the point that they aren't recognized as people by the state (they don't have documents), which relies on a few big hearted breadwinners who are in turn heavily domestically supported.

Those of you with some means and wondering how you can make the world a little better when it seems so hopeless sometimes would be able to patch a little bit of the hole in your heart by sending over a bit. A big pro-tip is that if you live in a country with a strong currency, a few bank notes goes a long way for people who live in war-torn and depressed economies. You don't have to be rich to buy week's worth of food over there (unlike over here 😂). If you are on a zero sum budget like me, this isn't intended to pressure you.
