Frankly, Anthropic is cruel to its users b/c their system constantly uses 1ˢᵗ-person pronouns & anthropomorphizes itself (particularly with sycophantic responses designed to trick the user into liking the system).
Has anyone else tried to stop these types of outputs by #Claude? I've tried hard yet they remain.
@bkuhn I know one 100% effective way to stop getting these outputs...
Oct 12, 2026, 2:19 PMI also wish I could clip coupons for my local grocery stores w/out using proprietary software and LLM-gen-AI, but I can't anymore.
& it's my job as a policy wonk to live in the world most in my field are living in; I don't have the luxury of being a luddite on this point.
But, as I've said before, if you have a plan with even a 40% chance of convincing ≈15% of programmers worldwide to boycott #LLMGenAI, I'd turn my attention to that plan.
