    OMG, I just found this coffee shop around the corner. Reminded me of Battlestar Galactica, but I can't remember the name. If people knew about that place it'd be huge. They actually have a way to fit an entire sack of sugar in my skinny pumpkin butthole latte, you can't even tell there's water in it. I'd like to talk to them about their business plans, ideas for growth.
    And steal it all to sell even less coffee for even more money.
    Then buy them and shut them down.

    @redsad Yes, discovering anyone currently easier to exploit than some others always seems to lead to a rush -- "land rush," "gold rush," etc. aka mass death with euphemisms.

    @redsad actually made me giggle. The questionable "discovery" is ridiculous on its own, but throwing in Columbo adds just the right extra sauce to it 😂

    @FranceskaMann now I am trying to remember how old I was when I learned about it...I have the sense that I learned about the Trail of Tears as early as middle or high school, but the first rock solid memory I have of being truly aware of the genocide is reading A People's History of the United States during my freshman year of college. so yeah. schools here suck.

    You and I had to stand up and pledge allegiance to a flag every day at school. It was never about educating us. It was about indoctrinating us into capitalism.

    Luckily, I read a lot and I always have. By good luck I didn't watch TV for decades. Then I traveled extensively and lived in several countries around the world. Even so, Facebook propaganda sucked me in. Thing is, once I realized it, I deleted. Most people don't.
