I recently learned about Dexfile (https://github.com/ctryard/dexfile), a superset of Dockerfile, which allows access to more of buildkit's underlying complexity (eg more expressive conditional behavior).

This is going to help a lot on a project for work.

It's cool because there's nothing to install -- you just add essentially a shebang line to the top of your Dockerfile and change the extension.
