The US (I mean White people) are too comfortable with racism, like if racism were a problem of POC, not their problem. They benefit from this passive attitude, but will never admit it. So racism creates a fertile ground for fascism. Carelessness. Since people are used to avoid caring about how racism affects POC, they avoid caring about how fascism affects other people, first of all immigrants and LGBTIQ people. In carelessness, fascism grows.
