Oct 4, 2026, 9:03 PMPrivatisation was supposed to provide superior service at a lower cost due to greater efficiency. Instead, private for-profits see the provision of services as an opportunity to rip off the public purse, while providing inadequate, inappropriate or downright dangerous services.
It’s past time that we re-build public services for essential services including healthcare.
