Is it perfect? No. Am I satisfied with it? No, I already know a number of things I’d do differently if I did it again.
But I don’t hate it, AND I learned something making it, AND making this one made me want to make better ones. I’m calling this one a win.

Bonus: I tried doing a simpler version that captured the slightly Haring-esque aspects of the stick figure and the handprint, but I overdid the flatness of the fingertips (which was mostly unintentional in the first one) and I don’t like the finger spacing as much, even though the fingers are more regular.
Also, I just kind of like the messiness of the first try? That’s a new feeling. But something about that feels more like "art" to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
