Alternately, "If y'all keep settling for people who will save you but hurt me, I'd rather watch you burn too, because it's no worse for me and then you might actually do something useful."I'm not saying this is a correct position or one you have to agree with, but if you can't do the work to understand it, you're betting on horses, not having a serious political conversation. That failure to do the work is, uh, kind of a big part of why we're here.
