#askfedi i have a broken musical keyboard an want to reverse engineer the keyboard matrix circuit, ideally so that i can somehow connect a PC keyboard and use that as the input to play notes somehow.
i have no experience in hardware or software hacking. how do i go about this?

Q&A:
-yes the Keyboard has a MIDI input but i'm unable to trigger styles through that.
-no i don't want to wire a new piano keyboard to the chassis.
