    All 3 restaurants are listed as LGBTQ+ friendly, there were pride flags and colours all over the place

    MacLeod's Books on Pender and Richards was fun. It's a mess of books. If you find something you like buy it because it might not be there the next day, as I found out

    There are at least two other book stores within a few hundred meters of MacLeod's

    Near MacLead's on Richards is a massage place that spouse reports was fantastic with true deep tissue massage

    Vancouver has proper Überaschungseier! Not the fake things available in the US

    Oh, and maple everything!

    There was Fußball stuff everywhere, now that world cup is done, that should be settled down

    We were in what turned out to be an upscale mall when the final finished and suddenly is was busier than SCaLE between talks at LAX

    Haven't been to FOSDEM, but don't think it was that busy
