which mastodon client for Linux are you using?
I need multi account support.
I like the deck look but that's optional.
My biggest dream would be a possibility to make a list or filter a timeline to only see posts without boosts, without deactivating the boost function completely.
I tried Tuba but it is not working on my current setup. (Arch with Cosmic)
please boost :P
@captain_maramo Tuba Flatpak?
@denzilferreira tried it via aur ... but might try the flatpak version again
Jan 9, 2026, 11:17 AM@captain_maramo I use phanpy.social (PWA) on all my devices. Multi account, freely configurable columns, "boost carousel" by default (boosts separated and grouped) etc.
@ljrk @captain_maramo okay phanpy.social is reeeally pretty ^-^
I also really dig the boost carousel, cause I also had the issue with my timeline being flooded by boosts.
What I miss is a sidebar just giving me quick access to change account and my timelines/lists/mentions/booksmarks and such.
Trying to figure out that columns/shortcuts feature right now^^
Jan 9, 2026, 12:15 PM@Mayze_Miasma @captain_maramo While you can switch accounts it's a few more clicks than just a drop down in the sidebar unfortunately – but you can have multiple phanpy instances open across tabs w/ different active accounts!
For lists etc. you can configure columns maybe?
And yes, it's sooo pretty :3
Has quickly won over my heart, after trying lots of other clients!
@ljrk @Mayze_Miasma @captain_maramo
Yeah right multiple tabs would be a good option for that :3
The shortcut option "tab/menu bar" seems to be what I was looking for ^-^
Jan 9, 2026, 12:24 PM@lethe @Mayze_Miasma @captain_maramo Nice, happy if it turns out to work so well for you!! :3
@ljrk think I tried Phanpy years ago ... but I wasn't shure what I wanted and at that time the webinterface was enough. So i should try it again
@captain_maramo is the issue you're facing related to a keyring setup? I faced the same. (I'm using COSMIC and Tuba (Flatpak) on Arch too)
@magitian yes
@captain_maramo I had to recreate the login keyring as shown here: github.com/GeopJr/Tuba/wiki/keyring-issues
