I think we missed to pass on our musical generational trauma to the gen Z. When my sister's boyfriend told me he started learning to play the guitar a few months ago, I asked him if he already learned to play Wonderwall.
No annoyed face, no laughter, nothing.
He was just confused, because he doesn't know what Wonderwall is....
I don't know if I want to be happy or sad about this circumstance....
Von being awake zu being a woke geht der weg durch ein ei
I started my day by placing a Bluetoothbox on my vacuum robot, making it clean while blasting "arbeiterkampf" (industrial action) songs.
I think that's as much of a revolution as I get today....
Maybe I should make a squatter action banner for his home station and tiny black and red flags to place on him for his next parade through my corridor....
Or Wyld idea ... Maybe I should just take my fucking meds.
What Idea will win....
Thinking .....
Leading the robot revolution it is!

Guten Morgen,
hier ist ein wenig tägliche linke Propaganda. :anarchistflagblack:
@iro_miya if you ever manage to get your fingers on a cgm implant that does not cost a fortune like the eversense 365, please let me know :p
Some things in life leave marks in your behaviour.
Yes this could be another trauma related post, but it isn't!
I always have to think twice in my choice of cuttlery, because my basic go to for nearly everything are chopsticks when nobody is around.
What are your funny/non-traumatic quirks, you started to have because of certain situations in life?
The #ecb euro redesign survey feels like it's directly made for a social media audience!
You can find the survey here:
It's kind of funny that a lot of people want to see my balls now after they have been removed.
But it's even more hilarious to tell those people I will get them if they want to, grab a brown paper bag (which contains the plastic containers that contain my balls) and place it in front of them.
Some are creeped out, some are interested and others don't know what to feel, when I shake the containers and call them my human snow globes.
Honey it's hot outside please hydrate.
Go and eat your white Monster Energy Jelly.

Dragon Dads (https://dragondads.org/) is a group of dads and other caregivers who are affirming and supportive of LGTBQIA+ kids. One of their big activities is going to #pride events and giving out free dad hugs. Many of them have been doing this for 10 years or more. This was my first time.
Let me tell you, I saw, and felt, absolutely everything.
There was someone who squealed when they saw the booth and did a ten yard sprint to catch me in a flying hug. There were people who walked by several times before they timidly came up and asked for a hug.
There were people who wanted long hugs, side hugs, pats on the back, fist bumps. (We have a menu.) People who don't like hugs, but were nonetheless thrilled that we were doing it.
People told me that their dads had passed away, refused to have anything to do with them, or that they had had to cut their own dads off. One told me "I miss my dad", and when I said I was so sorry, they said "he's in Arizona".
There was an elderly person in a wheelchair who told us how their alcoholic father used to beat them, then told us all the things they had accomplished in life in spite of him, just to show him.
There were people who trembled. People who sobbed. People who melted.
A giant dude in one of those neoprene dog masks (with my permission) grabbed me in a great big hug and lifted me off the ground.
I leaned down to hug people in wheelchairs, and stretched up to hug a woman who I swear was seven feet tall.
Some people stayed to chat, or to cool off in our misting fan in the blistering heat. Others got a hug and left quickly, tears in their eyes and a "thank you" on their lips.
Absolutely everyone who wanted a hug got one.
I've signed up for more events.

I was joining an online meeting with a big partner of my company.
The partner was not there yet, but a colleague of mine joined.
He started smiling... You are wearing the most offensive shirt you have in a business meeting. I mean I love it... But maybe you decide.
I took a look and changed my shirt ... I hate business meetings!
But for the record I will say again what was written on my shirt.

I love this Idea!
Okay sometimes I try new food trends ... And this one sounded awful but it's awesome.
1:1 White Monster Energy with Skyr.
Put it in a shaker..
Be careful with the carbonic acid and release it.
Now you have a protein drink with caffeine that tastes like lemon ice!
Talking to people in english and realising they are German as well was a common pattern this weekend at #fosdem
Sometimes we realised it several hours after starting the conversation.
Most of the time we exchanged 2-3 German sentences and switched back to English again.
The reasons differed between not wanting to exclude people around us, getting confused by switching languages or just feeling more comfortable talking English at conferences.
Does anybody have a ThinkPad L490 replacement screen or knows how to get it today at FOSDEM
which mastodon client for Linux are you using?
I need multi account support.
I like the deck look but that's optional.
My biggest dream would be a possibility to make a list or filter a timeline to only see posts without boosts, without deactivating the boost function completely.
I tried Tuba but it is not working on my current setup. (Arch with Cosmic)
please boost :P
