With the recent announcement of Calibre now having even more AI integration (I wasn't aware of it before), I am thinking about maintaining a fork that strips out the AI integration completely.
If I do it will be called Clbre. I'd also be happy if someone else uses that name for the same thing.
I have attracted some attention from PitchHut who would like me to use their AI slop to promote my project that is all about removing AI slop.
They're also gamifying promoting projects, so in order for your project to be viewed by others, you need to look at other people's project promotions.
I hate this sort of thing. If you need to use gamification to drive views of your AI slop then you are part of the problem of the modern web.
