JanetJanet_52square@sunny.gardenJun 15, 2025, 9:15 PM@mrbadger42 is this correct? I think he was a fraudster but no mention of being a minister https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2025/06/14/suspect-minnesota-lawmaker-shootings-vance-boelter/84212956007/
James WidmanJamesWidman@mastodon.socialJun 16, 2025, 1:00 AM@Janet_52square the blog post (the one that @mrbadger42 linked to) links to this page:
https://labornematadi.com/predicateur/vance-boelter/
which appears to be a list of sermons apparently given by Boelter in a church in Matadi*, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (which, the USA Today article mentions that he did some business there).
[*] based on their contact info: https://labornematadi.com/contact/
[edit: accidentally thought this was an address in the neighboring country of the Republic of Congo. It appears to be DRC.]- James WidmanJamesWidman@mastodon.socialJun 16, 2025, 1:01 AM

In any event, the church website has three separate photos of him, apparently mid-sermon. - James WidmanJamesWidman@mastodon.socialJun 16, 2025, 1:51 AM
