I’m planning a trip from Germany to the UK in September, by train as I usually do, and this time I’ve bought an interrail 4 days in one month ticket, as recommended by @jon and others, since Eurostar tickets are so expensive at the times I want to travel that it’s cheaper even for just a return trip.

@jon @timrichards Yes, so if you’re booking way in advance or for an unpopular time it might not make sense, but in my case on a Friday and and a Sunday a month and a half in advance the normal Eurostar tickets were really expensive.
Jul 30, 2023, 2:26 PM@amyisard @timrichards Right. When I booked for start of September, Eurostar was €170 single. So €30, and then as many connecting trains as you want for a total of about €50 a day on Interrail is not too bad!
