Day Twenty-Two: fungi forest

#drawtober

Been a while since I've had to record audio, was fun. Had to get re-acquainted with Audacity, too.

Did the recording last night, had to wait till late because there is construction in the area, everyday, from 0700 to 1900. The sound is amplified underwater and comes out as a series of rapid loud clicks.

Though once the construction ended, I had to pause my recording a lot because of barking dogs (there are so many dogs on these docks, lol) :neofox_laugh_sweat:

Progress bars are fun.

Almost there #drawtober people! Only 10 more days~

Day Seventeen: up or down

Added an image link(colored lantern) for the latest Rabbit Waves comic page ^_^...

It links to a page about Ship Lights.

I had a really kickass one when i was in animation school :>... i miss it sometimes (wouldn't be practical on a boat anyhow ^^) .

A very basic light table, i just put a rechargeable LED light in a storage box that has a semi-transparent lid. Works well enough.

Got a couple climbing holds printed and got some hardware to test mounting them, this feels great and solid. Next step is making a small volume :)

Day Sixteen: a bed of snakes.

Day fifteen: something fishy

I post all of my entries here:

I had other plans for today but I got carried away after seeing the page Liz shared XD... pretty happy with the result.

Today @ritualdust shared a really neat page about hatching in heraldry, which is a way to describe color in a monochrome image.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatching_(heraldry)

I decided to try to apply the conventional system to monochrome signal flags. Signal flags are, of course, already designed to be recognizable in b&w due to their differing patterns(and dark vs light color arrangement) but I thought that it would be a neat way to communicate the colors when shared as a monochrome image.

(gold is yellow in this example)
