Yesterday we got informed that the #DEIB devroom at #fosdem which we pitched with @Gina @_elena got rejected.

The flood of positive messages we've received on mastodon over the past 24h gives me hope for an even more inclusive & diverse future of FOSS projects. FOSDEM is not mirroring the entire FOSS scene. I'm very grateful for all the support many of you are expressing. 🧡

@dentangle summarized it in a perfect way! The devroom *is* happening here because of YOU.

As I reflected on what I experienced at #FOSDEM, the idea of organizing a devroom dedicated to #diversity was born.

Together with @Gina @_elena we submitted the proposal to organise a #DEI devroom at #FOSDEM27. It got rejected. 😢💔

Every year we leave #FOSDEM inspired by the people we meet & the passion for #opensource. And every year we also find ourselves thinking about how much greater it could be if more people with different perspectives were part of those conversations.

Last week at our team offsite of @openproject we enjoyed playing the #creaturecards game by @mysteryhack. That was so much fun! Thank you so much for making this possible!

If you are curious how it worked out, we shared our impressions within this blog article:

I truly admire the #foss revolution at @landesregierung @digitalhubsh driven by @dirkschroedter @CIO @AlexRosenthal

Very often during my talks I mention them being role models making the change happen. Step by step, moving away from closed source. I love to see the passion for #digitalsovereignty which they all have.

Together with @Gina & @ldubost we had the privilege of chatting with them at the #sccon26. Fingers crossed for the #foss revolution in #SchleswigHolstein

@openproject @xwiki

What a day at the #sccon2026! I had the pleasure to speak at the @zendis and @nextcloud stages to present the leading #opensource project and product management software @openproject. 🥳 thank you for creating the space for exchange about #foss alternatives to #Jira! 💪

It was also wonderful to spend some time in person with our great partners and friends at @xwiki @xwiki@xwiki.comorg. 🧡🤗 See you soon at the @osxp_paris!

Are you about to migrate from #Jira to @openproject? In case you are using #agile way of working our update on agile reporting might be interesting to you.

Many updates coming soon: sprint reports, burndowns, burnups, velocity diagram, cumulative flow diagram and my personal favorite, the epic progress chart.

Looking forward to your feedback!

“After just “10 minutes of AI-assisted problem-solving, people who lost access to the AI performed worse and gave up more frequently than those who never used it”.

An MIT study showed that test groups who used ChatGPT had the lowest brain activity and “consistently underperformed at neural, linguistic, and behavioural levels”. We undergo not just cognitive offloading, but cognitive surrender: we forget what was possible.”

Are we sure they didn't stop travel because SAP Concur is unusable as a travel management system?

A few weeks ago I joined the opening of #EuroCommons representing @openproject. Here our video report from the very successful event.

EuroCommons is about collaboration between users and open source product teams in order to co-create sustainable digital infrastructure that gives users control over their data, their tools, and their future.

We're excited to continue contributing to this growing ecosystem and helping build open, trusted digital infrastructure to strengthen our democracy.

As a passionate, user-centric product leader, I am very grateful to Caisse des Dépots for creating a space for exchange between potential users and @openproject. This helps us to shape the product together with the community. Very much looking forward to how the collaboration within #EuroCommons will evolve.

What a privilege to hear Aymeril HOANG - #EuroCommons Programme Director, Caisse des Dépots Group - speak about @openproject and @xwiki collaboration with #TOSIT members on helping them get away from the vendor lock-in.

As a very user-centric organisation we are very grateful for the exchange with our user community. If you are our current or potential user, I can only recommend you to use this opportunity and shape the product together with us: provided your feedback, speak up.

We just arrived at the #EuroCommons opening. Let’s go!

We are very much looking forward to helping organisations get away from the #Atlassian vendor lock-in.
