I’m a figurative artist working on plasticine sculptures, mixed media drawings, monoprints.
Looking forward to more urban sketching and plein air painting. This coming year I am hoping to make a lot more drypoint and tetrapak prints!

I spent a lot of money growing up in the arcade, and buying Apple ][e boxed merch. And then I got a modem. The only door game I can remember is L.O.R.D. tho.
Thrasher is one of the earliest games I’m credited with QA on.
It was really easy to scrape my pixelfed. I’m assuming the bots have it all.
My new strategy is to move new original art photos to my blog, and to only publish cropped samples and lower res versions of art there.

Noticed that yesterday, all the ginko trees in my neighborhood dropped all their leaves completely. All in sync on the same day. The solstice.
My spouse's super power is scheduling and creating vacations to cool places, for cheap.
Her powers do not extend to communicating the plans ahead of time. Blocking out the physical or digital family calendar, sharing flight info. She has it all locked in her brain and her own email.
This causes me anxiety.
Staring at my workshop while making coffee, and there are things that need a better space.

I moved here September 2025 from @epu@mstdn.social so that I can be more intentional about meeting art folks.
3 years ago I started getting back in touch with my art; daily drawings, going to figure drawing sessions, and sculpting from models.
I was lamenting lack of community with a photographer buddy of mine, and we started a backyard art club for our art neighbors. We get together bi-monthly to stay inspired.
