several months ago, I tooted a URL for a site that had many icons for softare, hardware, and other items that were created with free software/content license. (Creative Commons?) I've lost the link. If you know of that site, please send me a response! Cheers!

As I get older, I am really getting dependent on well-defined written requirements. Especially when I'm doing the grocery shopping.

24 years ago on New Year's Eve, a lot of it. People stayed up to the wee hours to make sure that their systems did not crash when we hit Y2K. The team I worked on was absolutely sure that our homegrown reservation system was ready for the big event. At 8: 00am New Years I got the phone call. The reservation system was up but vendor supported forecasting tool was not. I found one variable in a bash script that was not set for a four character years. Vi to the rescue.
