Tonight at the Portland Thorns vs NC Courage game, TERFs in the GA supporters section wearing XXXY shirts held up transphobic banners during the second half. Supporters in the section responded by waving trans flags, and more trans flags were passed out to supporters in front of them to block out their banner. As the game progressed, brave fans took their banners as the crowd chanted "Trans Lives Matter" and "Go home, fascists go home." Members of the Rose City Riveters held up Trans Lives Matter scarves and marched up and down the aisles. The message was clear: Transphobic bullshit isn't welcome in Portland.

Eventually security arrived and escorted the group of fascists away. As they were led out of the stadium, they filmed fans who waved trans flags and middle fingers at them.

Tonight was the last home game of the regular season for the Thorns, and fascists attempted to exploit that as a chance to stir up anti-trans hate at the game. Portland resoundingly told them to go fuck themselves.

Wife and I voted, it was not hard to make the right ETHICAL and MORAL choices on our ballots. Amazing to see more progressive people my age (30s) getting involved in local races that have been dominated by typical maga-aligned conservatives.

I wish/sincerely hope other folks do the same. It's not left vs right, it's literally right vs wrong. One group is not advocating for kidnapping, murder, and forced pediatric genital exams.

@sarae @ai6yr @kennric We worked on some solutions with the counties affected by the 2020 wildfires. The best answer was advanced septic systems (aka ATT) that are much smaller footprint-wise, but more expensive to install and need to be maintained more often than once a year.

Wow, today #NWS decommissioned their iNWS website and systems due to cybersecurity vulnerabilities. They now want us to submit storm reports via their Slack channel.
