Meanwhile, in China, another electric scooter has turned into a blowtorch

LiFePO4 batteries can't become commonplace fast enough. They're orders of magnitude safer than Li-ion

my solution has become a simple one: don't read the internet. don't go on the internet. don't follow links. don't open your web browser. do not internet.

maybe 2018. back in the second year of a trump presidency.

to be clear i am pro-schizophrenic and i think it's nice that we live in a world where Donald McDonald can run every year. especially so that i can rank him over all the right wing parties

in some ways im back in 2017???????

When I say "I know exactly how much Derwent changed their pigments" I mean

I know *exactly*

Derwent Artists Gunmetal is not the same colour it was.

life goes in cycles

i've been thinking about trying out a daily planner. writing down physical notes has been really useful lately, and i want to keep better track of my health and plans and daily life things u_u

i already use obsidian for drafting blog posts and some other stuff, but i haven't found a good organization method that feels "right" to my brain for like. Daily planner stuff. i could dig around for ideas, but also part of me craves the tactile feel of a physical planner...

I really don't know what I'm doing.

When Xavier Becerra was on the last ballot, I admit I didnt vote for him. That was because some stuff came out suggesting Xavier has a poor POV in the whole trans sports debate. I never was able to sort out how true this was ... or if it was just part of the mud slinging that goes on between political parties. Elections seldom reveal truths and i know there is something to be said for confusing the masses sp much that they suffer decision paralysis

Recently, Hilton (Becerras opponent) released an advert suggesting Becerra supports trans athletes. I didnt see the advert all the way thru bc it was clearly AI and it looked transphobic as fuck.

this year, in addition to my usual favorite local schizophrenic that i get to rank over all the right wing parties (Donald McDonald), we have a second possibly-also-schizophrenic for me to rank over all the right wing parties, a dude with AI psychosis who wants to abolish all money. hell yeah!

Guten Morgen in die Runde ☕️, wahre Worte zu einem hoffentlich friedlichen und erholsamen Sonntag. 🤔

"The rebuilding of institutions and environmental protection policies under the Lula government showed that slowing the Amazon’s destruction is possible. But this progress hasn’t dissolved the territorial foundations that sustain bolsonarismo. The 2026 election puts the country at a territorial, geopolitical and climate crossroads.

The possible return of a political project that made destroying the Amazon a form of governance threatens the forest and its peoples, threatens national sovereignty given the risk of subordination to the United States, and threatens the planet’s climate balance, which the Amazon helps regulate through key biogeochemical cycles.

This election is decisive in preventing bolsonarismo from tightening its grip on the Brazilian state. Recent mobilizations by students and workers, in the streets and online, have signaled a new political force, one that needs to outlast this election’s urgency and become a lasting collective force.

In the Amazon and in other biomes affected by environmental destruction, peoples and communities continue confronting the territorial forces that sustain bolsonarismo. It’s in the convergence of these different forms of mobilization that resistance to the far right can grow stronger, confronting both its territorial base and the mindset that sustains it."
