I mean, small talk is hard, but honestly, big talk isn't all that much better

@punishmenthurts I like deep long talk, most of the rest of the world doesnt like that.

I cant do small talk, I'm too literal.

    Them: "How are you?"
Me: (tells how miserable I am, and why)
Mom: When they ask you that, they arent really wanting to know.

I think it’s that same trait means I can’t do big talk, I’m too literal for Human Nature, or the comfort of any kind of faith. 💜

oh, I’m no good at whatever Allistic people say about those things, that’s my point.
    .
I have my own, that’s why deep talk is as hard as small talk

You have your own what? Ideas or terminology?

I am good at deep talk about philosophy etc, using standard jargon, so communication is not a hindrance. I don't make up my own words or languages to express my unique ideas. Not yet, anyway. :blobcattea:

    .
that's a rule for me too, if you have to make up a new language, you're not . . . on track
    .
ideas. I thought you knew me, but here's a quick list:
    .
Neurodiversity is not what you hear most, we aren't a new thing, the majority sort are new, since the latest ice age. What they call, "Autism," is just the diversity of the world.
    .
Evolution is alive and well and operating on humans every day, every year, every generation.
    .
Punishment is built into the majority type, and it's the exact logical opposite of evolution, they think people will adapt AWAY from the environment, they think you make angels by raising them in Hell.
    .
The progress meme is Allistic nonsense, humans are getting worse, whatever that means, not better, whatever that means. Again, they offer an environment you need to be a devil to survive, so we are becoming devils.
    .
I had to make up one word early on, but the point is I shouldn't have had to: antisocialization, socialization for conflict and hate. Pretty sure it exists, but that the majority doesn't think so, so they haven't got it in their dictionaries.
    .
That ought to get us started, LOL 💜

@punishmenthurts @ashwin Agreed Lama. The box/mold which modern society expects us to fit into, is getting smaller and smaller every year. I have witnessed this refinement over the past 45+ years of my life.

Getting the square peg into the round hole, will certainly damage the peg.

@punishmenthurts @ashwin Anti-social exists. Introvert also exists. My new word for the same thing, is not one I have created. Agoraphobia. Which only showed up in 2009, when I was locked in a psyche unit after someone misjudged me.

Hell if I go outside and someone sees me.
    They dont like unexpected stuff.
Lock her up! I dont feel comfortable.
I'm not comfortable in their world. Never have been.

@punishmenthurts Since I was forming my first memories at age two, I felt I need not pay attention to anyone else. They were scary, liars, overpowering, painful lovers of lights and sounds... and would not stop picking me up when I wanted to crawl, falling hurts!

Couldnt reach the lightswitches. Punished for playing in the middle of the night.

I developed a fear of every human, only putting up with them for clothing, food, shelter and toys.
They took toys and food away when they got angry.

@punishmenthurts I fear authority, accusations of bad behavior, liars, and people with big egos.

All of which are a precursor to being hurt, and removed from places I wanna be, and joys lost once again, due to no fault of my own.

They chose that pain for me. I did not want it. I fear them, and want to runaway before I get hurt.

Staying home keeps me out of that danger zone.

yeah, fear is not the same antisocial response the majority sort has, they get aggressive, that would be the technical definition, to be made . . . angry, maybe

@punishmenthurts They claim I am aggressive, when I am defensive. They are scared of me (cognitive dissonance) when I am terrified.

Not sure why they think such terrible things about me. That is their common perspective, Roc is bad, and they do not know the truth. I only want to do good.

Definition of good varies between all people. I do what feels right and good, and I believe everyone else will have a different perspective than I do. I am the only one seeing out of my own two eyes.

@punishmenthurts Angry, similar to frustration, which was a common response from my parents, when I do not match their expectations. I didnt cause their frustration, they caused it themselves with their expectations for my to "behave like a normal person"

Sorry mom and dad. Age 30, I became too self-aware (add my lifetime stubbornness), I no longer allowed myself to be submissive. That made them angry too, but I stopped fearing their own expectations. If I get hurt, then so be it. I am me.

    .
    try this
    .
    they're aggressive
    so they think that's "normal,"
so they think they're not "aggressive," that's just normal
    .
when it ought to be impossible not to realize it, they call their aggression fear, or a phobia, that's the part they notice. "I was afraid, so attacked her, not because I'm aggressive, just because I'm "normal""
    .
    something like that

    @punishmenthurts Interesting.

Cop cams: Suspect says "I ran because I'm scared!"
Broke the law buddy. Now under arrest.

Seems that being loud is also a crime (Disorderly conduct).

I'm autistic, I'm always disorderly. The order is decided by a measurement/comparison to the majority. I'm not like them, so I am disorderly.

Genetically loud, pains me to keep my voice down to their expected levels.

I am afraid of being arrested for being too loud for them.

In another life, I sing opera.

@punishmenthurts Their status quo, that common sense thing... changes every moment.

We used to say, "If everyone jumped off a cliff, will you?"

Welp, decades after that, it seems most people are doing just that, figuratively speaking.

When I was a kid, ego was bad, lying was bad, cursing was bad...

Today? All of these things are celebrated and encouraged.

Humanity today does seem to be like you have said. Backwards.

@punishmenthurts Their sense of normal is based on averages of the majority.

Makes me think of the average IQ score that they invented, has lowered their point of what is average as time goes on.
