    I'm afraid I have some bad news for you: Congress WON'T hold Trump accountable.

    They'll showboat, talk a lot, and fundraise like mad. But actually punish anyone? Or roll back fascism? Not a chance.

    "Look forward, not back." Remember that? Remember how Obama and the Democrats all bleated that in unison? Thereby normalizing the open torture committed by the Bush regime?

    How about "Impeachment is off the table." Strike a bell?

    The Democrats are owned and funded by the SAME oligarchs who own the Republicans. They're the second string of fascism, the good cops to the Republican bad cops. But ALL cops are bastards.

    Both parties are fascist.

    The Democrats brought us fascism in cooperation with the Republicans. They aren't going to do SHIT to punish them. If you're very lucky, maybe they'll get Hegseth to resign—and be replaced by someone worse, but sneakier.

    If we want to stop fascism, we have to overthrow the whole system. It's doable...but not by putting your trust in politicians.

    If we want to survive, we're going to have to save ourselves.
