1860s warehouses at Speirs Wharf in the north of Glasgow. Positioned at the end of the Glasgow spur of the Forth and Clyde Canal, close to its junction with the Monkland Canal, this was once an important inland port. The building in the foreground was constructed for the Port Dundas Sugar Refinery, while the one in the distance was formerly part of the City of Glasgow Grain Mills and Store. They were both converted into flats in 1991.
