This is literally why I refuse to work in majority-dude orgs or go back to corporate work.

I used to have a charismatic yet averagely-ok-smarty-pants-wise boss. Every meeting with him was a battle. I remember he was with me at a conference and I got cornered by a reporter; I answered the reporter quickly and thoroughly and my boss said, Wow, you really know what you're talking about.

Yeah, Eric! Imagine! I, the VP of Policy & Strategy, actually know my shit!

Clearly, I'm still angry at Eric.
