    I live in a part of the US where there the revolution started. I've walked countless times past the marker on Massachusetts Avenue where Samuel Whittemore, 80 years old, went out to meet the British on his own. I've walked Battle Road many times and seen the "Near here British Soldiers are buried" markers. I've visited the Lexington Green and Old North Bridge. Real people fought and died here for the right to self govern.

    250 years later, most Americans can't be bothered do the minimum required to participate in the democracy so many died enact. I expect I'm preaching to the choir here. One of the ?downsides? of no algorithm is we curate our own bubbles. But I'm going to remind folks anyway. Get out there and vote. If your state does early/extended voting take advantage of it. Encourage those around you to do the same.
