US liberals struggle to articulate any message to vote for Democrats beyond “you must vote to stop Trump” because neoliberalism no longer even pretends to legitimize the capitalist status quo. There is simply no room left for a positive vision, only opposition to something “worse.”

yep, and I have been providing the answer to your problem, primaries are the mechanism to remove the neoliberals that are problematic, if you don't participate in the primaries then neolibs win/keep their seats, you refuse to acknowledge that

The problem the Democrats face is not that their party “contains neoliberals.” The problem they face is that they are an instrument of a neoliberal system that no longer has access to the resources it needs to even pretend to fix problems.
This is why you can’t articulate a positive vision for the Democrats.
