    @tomstoneham great article, thanks. I believe what stands behind nonsense like the sentence you dissect here, is the conviction that money=value.

    This society has forgotten how to measure the value of things or processes in any dimension other than money. Beauty, handicraft, enjoyment, quality of the results, humanity, sustainability, community, even spiritual qualities - all these have to take a back seat to financial worth.
