I think a huge number of businesses would be fine running qwen or deep seek on a few A100 or RTX cards in their own server room, and this is why they made the hardware unobtainable. When the bubble pops I think there will be an explosion of small, open weight models trained for specific tasks replacing giant, general purpose models from the bankrupt frontier labs.
