    @glyph some people legitimately choose to let this thing do things that matter for them!!!!! instead of just using the thing to investigate how much of a clusterfuck the thing is!!!!!!!

    @glyph the things that i have reported and are outstanding still are actual bugs in the system that actually escalate risk to absurd degrees. even that is well outside the insecure by design problem in ways that are totally brain melting

    @glyph @jonny I think this is at (or let's be honest well past) the point where you could get tech and financial press to publish 'META says wormable malware is a design feature of their latest product' (or insert worst case plausible scenario) and their stock price would take a hit and mayyybe they'd cough up after that.

    @jonny @glyph I half-wonder if this ends with a very sad support agent just exasperatedly admitting all of this is intrinsic to the technology but the benefits are good actually and then in the distance you see a little puff of smoke and get this blazing through the sky like a shooting star.

    But isnt meta about gathering the money, not sowing the money? Do they need to care about large scale problems? With a black hole swirling this much mass at such large diameter, does anything matter?
