OK, so I really don't get how pots and pans can possibly not be dishwasher safe. You can literally boil water in them, or cook food to hundreds of degrees and have to scrape it off, or put it in the oven at 10,000 degrees for three years, but you can't put it in the dishwasher where it gets splashed with hot water and then dried in hot air? What am I missing? Is the dishwasher soap really that powerful?

Does anyone else call flip flops "thongs", or is that just a "my family" thing?
