"We are artists, educators, curators, and professionals in the field of digital culture, and we view with concern what has happened to the Autistici/Inventati association.
On August 26, 2026, the United States added the Italian collective Autistici/Inventati to its list of anti-terrorism sanctions, accusing it of providing online services to violent groups. This occurred without any trial and without the association having received any formal complaint. The secondary sanctions resulting from this action prompted Banca Etica to close the association’s bank account and seize the donations deposited by users.
