I"m quite pleased Canada will now have access to the Chinese EV vehicles. They are cheaper and reputed to be of great quality with terrific servicing. In the grand scheme of things 49,000 only represents less than 3% of new vehicle purchases in Canada, hardly enough to decimate the North American auto industry.

The bonus: it reduces our tariffs imposed by China on our food products e.g. canola. A huge plus.
