    When it comes to the tariff stuff I think the take that makes me bite my tongue the most is seeing people lament that they can't mass produce merch of their OC/sona anymore.

    I get it everyone has to eat but also the fact leftists are more upset they can't exploit foreign workers for cheap crap made of mostly if not completely plastic that's going to end up in a landfill for centuries than just about anything else is uh... :blobcat_daradara:

    Also tangentially related this is why when I've mentioned the game I want to make I've gone on record I think twice on Bluesky on how, assuming this hypothetical game got popular, I would only make merch if people were like genuinely angry if there wasn't any.

    I know its going to sound super bizarre for someone on a Mastodon instance called PLUSH DOT CITY but the idea of mass producing plushies of my characters just doesn't fill me with joy.
