Another of my personal favs (from the article on parrots)

Every so often I check Wikipedia's cow tipping article to make sure it still has my favorite image description.

Made an extremely powerful meme I think you folks on Mastodon will maybe like

Required context (I'm not being serious here btw don't pester the OP lol) https://bsky.app/profile/tuftmouse.bsky.social/post/3lrqpyemh6222

Sorry furries ACAB includes the police dog bouncy castle

Also tangentially related this is why when I've mentioned the game I want to make I've gone on record I think twice on Bluesky on how, assuming this hypothetical game got popular, I would only make merch if people were like genuinely angry if there wasn't any.

I know its going to sound super bizarre for someone on a Mastodon instance called PLUSH DOT CITY but the idea of mass producing plushies of my characters just doesn't fill me with joy.

When it comes to the tariff stuff I think the take that makes me bite my tongue the most is seeing people lament that they can't mass produce merch of their OC/sona anymore.

I get it everyone has to eat but also the fact leftists are more upset they can't exploit foreign workers for cheap crap made of mostly if not completely plastic that's going to end up in a landfill for centuries than just about anything else is uh... :blobcat_daradara:

Would be spiffy if Americans weren't so aggressively ableist they try to explain every bad person being bad as a "mental illness" they have. Like bro we're in the 21st century not the 12th stop trying to explain away cruelty in people with "they must broken!"

Selfishness isn't a disease.
Hate isn't a disease.
Fascism isn't a disease.
Most of the time people just suck because they do!

I think my eyesight is getting worse because I saw this post and somehow I read every # symbol as the letter F. You can just imagine what magical effect that had on this post

Drew what was suppose to be a quick image just to get used to my new tablet but then I got a cold so it took a while to refine. This isn't any specific character I just felt like drawing an aardvark!

Hey game devs out there would there be a good simple to use game engine for making a 2D point and click adventure game?
The last time I did anything related to game design was roughly 20 years ago when I briefly attended college. I genuinely don't even know set 1 anymore in how one would make a video game.

Leftists: [wants to replace a nation founded on genocide and slavery that's main world export is war and bigotry with something that isn't that]

Rightists: How dare you hate my precious white suprem- I mean Murica!

Liberal that thinks having gay friends make them basically Karl Marx: Don't worry Rightists those guys over there definitely love and cherish the United States just as much as you do uwu

Someone on my Tumblr TL: We shouldn't shame folks out of celebrating the 4th of July that just let's the right continue to convince folk that leftists hate America and want to destroy the country!
Me slightly off screen holding a sledgehammer up to America: Um sure yeah... definitely don't want anyone believing something so silly 🙂

Much like my tablet my computer is old as shit so it can't be upgraded to Windows 11 even if I wanted that shitty fucking OS. So yeah regardless if my computer dies in the next year or not I'm most likely going to have to switch to Linux either way.

People on other sites often are like "Mastodon is where all the tech nerds and their Linuxes are" so I figure I should ask this here: if you're an artist that uses Linux Mint what graphic tablet (you know like Wacom and stuff) do you use?

I have looked into it and the art programs I currently use are compatible so that's fine so the last remaining question would be if my ancient tablet doesn't work it is what tablet could I use instead.

Like maybe this scares away criminals sometimes but honestly if I was a car thief I'd probably just continue stealing a car if it started to scream at me. Like most people nearby are just going to assume the only reason I'm fucking with that car is because I'm the owner trying to get it to shut the fuck up lol

I don't know if its like a boomer type hot take to have but I think car alarms are up there as some of the least useful heavily adopted technology. Like 99.999% of time a car alarm goes off its a false alarm so most have trained themselves to ignore them thus defeating the whole purpose of a car making loud noises to draw attention to itself.

I feel like people on Mastodon will appreciate this out of context post I made

Its that time of year again!

Shipping the hot fox mascot Linux should have picked with the blorbo penguin they chose to go with instead.
