My house is one of those cape cod style houses, and the master bedroom is essentially the attic. Even though we have central heat & air, it doesn’t have the oomph to do much in our bedroom, so in the summers, we have used an ancient window AC unit that came with the house. It barely makes a dent on 90°+ days.

The other day we had a mini-split installed. **It is amazing!** It is so quiet, and has effortlessly kept the temp at 74°. And it’ll even do heat in the winter!
