I got my flu and covid shots yesterday and now I feel like shit. Everyone else in the family appears to feel fine. That's good I guess. Luckily my workplace is behind my house so I walked here in my pajamas and am managing a bit of work (mostly inventory orders and email)

@nervous_jessica *hugs* I quit getting them together a couple years ago because it made me feel so bad. I do much better separating them.
@nervous_jessica The shots kicked my dad's ass harder than ever before but my stepmom has basically zero side effects. Her sister also got totally wrecked so it seems extra random this year.
@nervous_jessica They knocked me out of commission for a day and a half this year. Meanwhile, my 2-year-old rebounded after one night.
@nervous_jessica husband's acquisition of flu vaccine and real flu coincided this year, unfortunately. it came earlier than usual.
